REFUND POLICY

Kickstarter is not a store, it is important to keep in mind that requesting a refund during the development of the project can seriously affect the effort of the work team to make the project a reality.

We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After 14 days close of the campaign, Kickstarter and payment processing fees, VAT, income tax and any other commission or fee that has had to be paid (for example: pledge manager commissions) will be deducted. Refunds may be processed via PayPal or reversed via Stripe to your credit card at our discretion.

Supporting a campaign on Kickstarter implies that you help the project to come to light, a campaign is not a store, so refunds cannot be made once the manufacturing process has started because your contribution has been used to buy raw materials and produce the rewards. The funds collected during the campaign are used to produce the rewards, it is not possible to refund you when the manufacturing process has started.

Once the manufacturing process has started, the funds have already been used to pay for the production, materials, and time of the people who work on the project. So no refunds are processed from that date.

When a reward is sent, no changes, refunds or returns are allowed.

SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping costs don’t include import fees, customs fees or any special taxes that may apply in some countries of destination outside the European Union. We do everything possible so that you don’t have additional customs costs when receiving your reward, but we cannot guarantee it since it depends on the customs protocols in each country.

If it has not been possible to deliver the package due to the absence of the recipient and the package is returned to us, we will contact the backer to inform them of what happened. A new shipment will be managed after payment of the new shipping costs, these shipping costs will be charged through Paypal and will be updated to the current rates at the time the new shipment is to be managed, Paypal payment processing fees will also be charged.

If a shipment is lost during transit we will take care of claiming the lost package and in case it cannot be located we will send you your reward again at no cost to you. We bear the cost of the reward and the new shipping costs. Exception: If the transport company or courier informs us that the recipient was notified and did not pick up their package, the guarantee mentioned above will not apply. In the event that the package is returned to us due to the negligence of the backer, a new shipment can be made after payment of the new shipping costs.

In all cases in which a new shipment is managed with the costs borne by the backer, the new shipping costs will be charged through Paypal and will be updated to the current rates at the time the new shipment is to be managed, Paypal payment processing fees will also be charged.

Shipping costs will be charged in the Pledge Manager after the campaign ends.

PRE-ORDER: REFUND POLICY

By pre-ordering you are helping a project get bigger and the community grow. It is important to keep in mind that requesting a refund after reserving a product or product bundle can create a mismatch in production costs and can seriously affect the team’s effort to produce rewards.

We can refund you within 14 days from the date you pre-ordered. The pledge manager fees, payment processing fees, VAT, income tax and any other commission or fee that has had to be paid to process your pre-order will be deducted. Refunds may be processed via PayPal or reversed via Stripe to your credit card at our discretion.

After placing the pre-order there is a period of 1 or 2 days in which your card has not yet been charged, in that period you can request a refund with the fees included.

Once your pre-order has been counted for manufacturing, the funds have already been used to pay for production, materials, and the time of the people working on the project. Therefore, after 14 days from when an pre-order is placed no refund will be processed, under any circumstances. after that date.

When a pre-oreder is sent, no changes, refunds or returns are allowed.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
